Kara joined Ironpeak to fill a newly developed role, claims liaison. In this role, Kara is focused on profit-driven initiatives that allow a win-win-win (carriers, Members and Ironpeak) solution. She monitors larger claims, along with working with our carriers and our field to execute portfolio management actions to deliver on Ironpeak’ s value proposition. Before joining Ironpeak, Kara worked for the Main Street America Group, winning five of the last seven Region of the Year titles as regional sales director. She is a seasoned insurance professional who has held various leadership roles from underwriting to sales in the insurance industry.
Kara shares her overall favorite carrier interaction, "Meeting with VP of PL at Travelers on a quarterly basis. We began the process of Portfolio Management by digging into analysis of states and agents that had high loss ratios. We have improved our PL loss ratio with Travelers by over 10 points year over year and we feel our work together has contributed to this big improvement."
