Established in 1977

It all began here for us… with our founding by Paul Branch in New York state. A shift from buying agencies to affiliating with them by contract led to the birth of the agency network concept and the launch of Ironpeak. Kevin McKay joined us in 2008, putting his regional knowledge and connections to good use helping both Members and carriers build productive, profitable relationships.  

Fun fact

Ben Franklin is a notable alumnus of the first public school in the U.S., Boston Latin, founded in 1635. He famously dropped out to pursue a range of other interests, including the founding of the first insurance company in the U.S., The Philadelphia Contributionship (TPC). TPC is an Ironpeak partner and going strong to this day.
